     MENTAL TRAINING SKILLS

Mental Training is just that: training the mind to perform better and closer to one's POTENTIAL.  Just as an athlete or performer needs to practice the technical aspects so too must they develop a PRACTICE OF TRAINING THE MIND in order to be more relaxed under pressure, have better focus control, and to be prepared to compete. 

Meet Kathy

In all performance the MIND IS THE MASTER.  I Have quite a personal story of the difference the mind can make that resulted in winning the OLYMPIC GOLD MEDAL in the Womens' Giant Slalom in Alpine Skiing at the Innsbruck Olympics.  Learning the practice of harnessing the mind will make the difference for you too!

 

I love helping athletes and artists pursue their dreams!  When not doing that I just may be pursuing my own as a competitive slalom waterskier, carving up our local Vancouver Grouse Mountain ski slopes, searching for powder snow in Whistler, hiking our amazing North Shore trails with the dogs or volunteering with Vancouver Coastal Health's Palliative Care Programme.
